Если у тебя хард работает в файловой структуре NTFS, то в свойствах можно поставить пароль доступа.
Че за структура такая и где это посмотреть можно?

1. What is Lock Folder XP?

The new Lock Folder XP 3.3 version has been released. In this version, some
alterations of interface elements were made, and some new features were added,
such as:
- Lock Folder XP Wizard will help you to master the program quickly.
- Now you can minimize the program window and keep it in the tray.
- Multilingual support for the interface settings of the program was added.
September 7, 2003
The new Lock Folder XP 3.2 version has been released. This version comes with
with an alert that is activated upon hiding system folders and an automated
Explorer that refreshes upon protection mode switching.

Software License
Read this license agreement in full before using Lock Folder XP.
4.1. This Software License Agreement (the "Agreement") is a legal agreement
between you, the end-user ("Licensee"), and Authors of this software
("Authors"). By using this software ("Lock Folder XP") or storing it
on a computer hard drive (or other type of media), you agree to be bound by the
terms of this Agreement.
4.2. Lock Folder XP IS DISTRIBUTED "AS IS". NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND IS
EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. YOU USE Lock Folder XP AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Everstrike Software hereby disclaims all warranties and guarantees regarding the
use, or the results of use, of Lock Folder XP in terms of correctness,
accuracy, reliability or otherwise. Everstrike Software will not be responsible
for any incidental, consequential, direct or indirect damages, including but not
limited to damages for loss of profits, business interruption and loss of
information resulting from the correct or otherwise use of Lock Folder XP
even if Everstrike Software has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
By installing Lock Folder XP you acknowledge that you have read this

4.4. You are welcome to test the trial version of the program for 30 days. This

use of the trial version. Only the trial version of Lock Folder XP may
be distributed freely on online services, bulletin boards, or other electronic
media as long as the files are distributed in their entirety.
4.5. After purchasing, Everstrike Software grants you a non-exclusive license to
use one copy of the software, on one computer, and make one copy of it for
archival purposes. For purposes of this section, "use" means loading the
software into RAM, as well as installation on a hard disk or other storage
device. You may access the software from a hard disk, or any other method you
choose, so long as you otherwise comply with this agreement. You may not install
the licensed version of the software onto a network server or in any other way
make it available to more than one user at a time unless you have arranged in
advance for a multi-user license; make copies of the software other than one
backup copy solely for archival purposes; sell, furnish, transmit, or give away
the software such that the software is exploited in a commercial way; or

Спасибо, скачал себе Lock Folder XP 3.6, жалко что версия ознакомительная(на 30 дней). На другом сайте скачал архив с кряком, но сам кряк представлен в виде значка «loader» при запуске которого открывается та же ознакомительная версия проги! Ни какого регистрационного кода в архиве не было! Не знаешь, что с этим кряком сделать надо, чтобы все поперло?
полезная в обиходе прога и очень проста в использовании. допустим необходимо скрыть от глаз некоторые файлы, папки или разделы на винте. надо указать проге что скрыть и нажать кнопку. все. файлов будто и несуществует, они неотбражаются даже в cmd->dir (в досе непроверял). когда ты в безопасности, то снова нуно запустить прогу (при запуске ввести личный пароль), и нажать на кнопку и все папки появятся где должны быть. сначала я нехотел ее качать, полагая что используется какое-нить шифрование файлов и будут проблемы например с фильмами из-за размера, но принцип другой и это радует. crack нашелся спервого раза в яндексе - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=T3GLB0UH - около 30 кб. на сайте перед скачиванием надо подождать 30 сек, там вверху таймер.

инормация о защищенных каталогах хранится в HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EverStrike\ перед переустановкой виндовса мона просто экспориторовать ветку, чтоб потом все заново ненастраивать.
Конечна прога классная, но чето не пойму...
заходишь C:\Program Files\Everstrike Software\Lock Folder XP 3.5\
далее легко сносишь ВСЕ файлы проги..
перезагружаешься ...
и вот - скрытые файлы доступны ))
зы
и не надо даже через "панель управления - установка\удаление программ" чет пытаться )))

Служебная личная информация если он нужна, копируется на сменные носители или шифруется.
А не хeрней мается.
Могу ошибаться, но за скрытие файлов отвечает LF30XP.sys, дров- который довольно наивно разместили в папке программы а не в system32 например..
заархивируй с поролем и все, хрен кто че достанет
Иногда это неудобно, когда надо например скрыть папку с играми, фильмами - так как потребуется время и место.
ну просто в свойствах папки скрытая и ни кто не увидит :)
или ты от кого добро свое виртуальное прячешь? От младшего/старшего брата-начинающего сис админа? :)
согласен, сестра еще недостигла уровня, чтобы просекать что существуют Скрытые папки и файлы, а фильмы Гоблина уже сносила чтоб места освободить.. прога дальше домашнего использования против матери и прочих родственников не пойдет. а шифрование это немного не то..
Установка атрибута "скрытый" для файлов ненадёжен даже против младших брата/сестры. Вдруг они немного умнее, чем вы думаете? :)) А если не хочется пользоваться прогами для шифрования, то лучше всего создать для каждого члена своей семьи отдельный аккаунт с правами просого юзера. Затем поместить все файлы, которые необходимо скрыть в отдельную дирекотрию или отдельный логический раздел диска. И в списке пользователей убрать права на доступ к этому каталогу/диску. Лично я на своём компе делаю именно так.
народ как открыть закрытый диск ... прога у мну такая Lock Folder XP 3.2 тока все дело в том что сама прога лежит на етм диске ...
а при чем тут прога? забыл пароль? :)
кстати у меня есть классная весчь - прога делает невидимым раздел диска, причем работает не из под виндовса. Т.е. пока не введен пароль диск останется заблокированным от посторонних (ну так обещают разработчики программы "Password Protection")

Были у меня похожие загоны, ставил какую - то прогу для скрытия папок. Гомно всё это. Все эти проги либо ставят свои дрова, от которых легко можно избавиться, либо просто запускают свою службу, выключив которую можно найти ВСЁ.
Оптимальный вариант - WinRar с паролем.
Для параноиков могу посоветовать PGP. Можно зашифровать логический диск/файл и радоваться. Сломать практически нереально.
Я сделал проще, в основном пользуюсь Линуксом, там файловая система ext3, из Винды её не видно. Вот там всё ценное и нужное складываю. В любом случае никто из домашних не додумается туда полезть, пароль рута знаю только я, а моя учетная запись тоже под паролем.
Люди помагите плз с одной проблемой!Вот типо у меня папка Program Files захажу в неё ,допустим хочу удалить в ней паку и мне пишет "Неудаёться удалить папку.Нет доступа.Диск может быть переполнен или защищён от записи,либо файл занят другим приложением.",а если хочу создать папку то пишет "Не удалось создать папку.Отказано в доступе.".Что мне делать ?
Я на компе не один работаю и хочу установить пароль для доступа к некоторым папкам. Как это сделать?
